Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS のインストール USBスティック使用

注意

この方法はUSBメモリードライブをISO9660形式のボリュームにします。したがってUSBドライブ全体をフォーマットしない限り作成したブータブルUSBドライブを書き込み可能に戻せません。

手順一覧

  1. 起動可能USBドライブの作成
  2. USBドライブでパソコンを起動
  3. インストーラーでUbuntuをインストール
  4. パソコンを終了
  5. パソコンを起動

手順詳細

  1. 起動可能USBドライブの作成
    2. 端末で次の命令を入力しusb-creatorをインストールする
    sudo apt install usb-creator-gtk
    端末で次の命令を入力しusb-creatorを起動する
    sudo usb-creator-gtk

    Ubuntuのディスクイメージファイルと書き込み先のドライブを指定する
    「ブータブルUSBの作成」ボタンを押す

  2. USBドライブでパソコンを起動

    3. 手順１で作成したUSBメモリードライブをパソコンに挿してからパソコンを起動する

  3. インストーラーでUbuntuをインストール

    4. インストーラーの説明に従ってUbuntuをインストールする

  4. パソコンを終了

    5. パソコンを終了しUSBドライブを取り外す

  5. パソコンを起動

    6. パソコンを起動する

    注意
    正常に起動しない場合は起動時にBIOS設定画面に入って起動に使うドライブの使用順序を確認する

how to install Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS with USB stick

CAUTION

This method converts a USB memory drive into an ISO 9660 volume. So it's impossible to restore a USB drive that you make to writable unless you format the whole USB drive.

route sheet

  1. make a bootable USB drive
  2. boot a PC from a USB drive
  3. install ubuntu with installer in a USB drive
  4. shutdown a PC
  5. boot a PC

details of the route

  1. make bootable USB drive
    2. in Terminal, you can input this command to install usb-creator
    sudo apt install usb-creator-gtk
    in Terminal, you can input this command to start usb-creator
    sudo usb-creator-gtk

    select the disk image file of Ubuntu and destination drive
    click "Make Startup Disk" button

  2. boot a PC from a USB drive

    3. insert the USB drive you made in step 1 into a PC, then boot the PC

  3. install ubuntu with installer in a USB drive

    4. install Ubuntu according to the assistance of the installer

  4. shutdown a PC

    5. shutdown a PC, then detach a USB drive

  5. boot a PC

    6. boot a PC

    NOTE
    if a PC doesn't boot up, you can enter BIOS setting screen, and confirm the order of boot drives.
